When is the landlord registration deadline?

The IRD extended the deadline to June 30, 2026. One-time registration fee is TT$2,500. Applies to landlords in T&T and abroad, and rent-collecting agents. Fines apply for every six months of non-registration.

Is the Landlord Business Surcharge double taxation?

No. The surcharge is creditable against your final annual tax liability when your year-end taxes are filed correctly — which is exactly what we handle for clients.

When are quarterly surcharge payments due?

Quarters end March 31, June 30, September 30 and December 31. We track every due date for our clients and pay on their behalf.

Do you handle everything, or do I still deal with the BIR?

We handle it end to end: BIR registration, quarterly computations and payments, and year-end filing with the surcharge credited. You share documents once — we do the rest.

Who needs to file a VAT return in Trinidad and Tobago?

Any business with gross sales or receipts exceeding TT$600,000 per year must register for VAT. Returns are filed every two months, due 25 days after the end of the period. We handle registration, preparation and filing.

What is the deadline for personal income tax returns?

Individual income tax returns are due April 30 each year. We prepare, review and e-file your return — and follow up any refund owed to you by the BIR.
